Vision Components has extended the performance range of its VC Base line with 5 new camera models that are available as black and white or colour versions featuring a 700 MHz processor, providing more computing power for demanding applications.
In addition to high speed applications, VC Base+ cameras are said to be especially suited for tasks in industrial image processing and 3D scans. The company says depending on the model, they are based on various state-of-the-art CMOS sensors from renowned manufacturers and these sensors can provide both high resolution and high frame rates, are very light-sensitive and deliver an excellent image quality.
