FOSA webinar: Schlumberger Pipeline Leak Tests
Published: 20 December, 2019
Schlumberger presents an overview of the pipeline leak tests it conducts in Cambridge, UK. This will include the test rig development over the course of multiple years, from a 850 meter buried fiber loop to a combination of 850 meter buried perimeter loop together with 300 meter buried multi-phase flow loop with multiple runs of different fiber optic cables. The test parameters explored will be presented along with demonstration of some of the tests and how these have supported interpretation (where confidentiality allows). This webinar is presented by Dr. Christopher Bridge. Dr. Christopher Bridge is Asset Condition Management Domain Champion for OneSubsea, a Schlumberger Company. Bridge has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years, developing monitoring technology and solutions for offshore and on-land structures. Bridge has worked for Schlumberger since 2007, with a break between 2013 and 2017, and been involved with development of fiber optic monitoring systems as well as systems engineering of subsea production systems.
