Dialight, a leader in LED lighting technology, has announced its latest innovation in LED hazardous area lighting. With options of 10,900 lumens (131W) and 20,250 lumens (252W), Dialight’s new StreetSense LED fitting carries a seven-year full performance warranty and is said to provide excellent quality of light for facility roadways in oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other hazardous applications.
The new IP66-rated Zone 2 certified luminaire is designed for side entry and can enable easy change-out from existing cobra head type fittings to help reduce maintenance costs, as well as achieving sustainability and energy efficiency goals. It also offers robust, integrated 6kV surge protection as standard and is available with a choice of four or six LED light engines.
Dialight says the compact and practical StreetSense fitting utilises key optical management to deliver precision light placement and uniform light distribution with sharp cut-off to minimise light trespass.
