Deutsche Windtechnik UK rebrands to DWT

Deutsche Windtechnik, a global leader in independent, multi-brand wind turbine services, has announced that its UK subsidiaries have officially rebranded to DWT.
The company says this name change marks a new chapter in the company’s ongoing commitment to building strong, lasting partnerships in the UK wind energy sector.
With the establishment of the onshore division in 2015 and the offshore division in 2021, DWT says it has steadily built its capabilities across the UK. Backed by its German parent company, the Group brings over two decades of experience and a robust European service and spare parts network to its UK operations.
“The rebrand to DWT comes at an exciting time for our onshore operations. Since establishing our onshore division in 2015, we have steadily built our capabilities,“ said Christina de Vries, Managing Director UK Onshore. “The implementation of a new strategy in 2024 has led to increased satisfaction among our partners. In the coming years, the onshore market offers significant growth potential. Introducing a more memorable and accessible brand is essential as we engage with existing clients and develop new partnerships across the sector.”

The rebrand to DWT helps strengthen that identity, making it easier for clients and partners to recognise the expertise and reliability we deliver at sea, while reflecting our connection to the wider Deutsche Windtechnik Group.”
Across both onshore and offshore divisions, DWT says it represents continuity, expertise, and partnership and while the name has evolved, the mission remains the same: to provide safe, reliable, and technically excellent wind turbine services throughout the UK, while expanding relationships and delivering on the sector’s growth potential.
