Integrity assessment software

Published:  11 June, 2015

Ametek.jpgAMETEK Creaform reports it has upgraded the speed and accuracy of its Pipecheck pipeline integrity assessment software and introduced a new software module for on-site or remote analysis.

The company says used in conjunction with the company’s HandySCAN 3D Scanner, newly released Pipecheck 2.2 provides a single solution for pipeline corrosion and mechanical damage assessment. It allows NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) service companies to perform rapid, high accuracy evaluations of pipeline degradation and remaining service life. A new surface merging capability allows Pipecheck 2.2 to realign overlapping scans, increasing field productivity.

Creaform has also introduced Pipecheck Analyze, a software module designed to address parallel workflow for end users. It allows field technicians to send acquisition data acquired in a ditch to an integrity engineer for detailed analysis.
