Powering up the industrial division

COBAT Technologies Ltd, through Manbat Ltd, its specialist UK battery distribution subsidiary, has announced that it has acquired PowerCell Industrial Battery Engineers Ltd, a leading industrial battery specialist based at Rayne in Essex that supplies and services batteries and chargers for all types of industrial applications.
“This acquisition is the perfect fit with our existing industrial battery business and strengthens our position within the industrial sector,” said Steve Sheppard, Manbat Ltd’s MD. “It also further adds to the group’s battery distribution businesses, which are now based in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium & France.”
