Third project win

Published:  01 July, 2014

FES_Int_DBSC.jpgUK oil and gas engineering firm FES International reports it has won a US $1.2m (£700,000) contract to supply four Diverless Bend Stiffener Connectors (DBSCs) to contractor NOV Flexibles. This is FES’ third project for NOV Flexibles this year with a combined value of almost US $5m.

FES says DBSCs are one of its most successful product lines enabling the quick, efficient and cost effective installation of bend stiffeners on offshore deep sea drilling operations.

The contract covers the supply of semi-automatic DBSCs to be used by Subsea 7 on the Total-operated Martin Linge field, located in the North Sea on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
