Maritime navigation according to IEC-60945 specification

Published:  12 May, 2014

Secure navigation: Guntermann & Drunck (G&D) reports it has achieved the accreditation of IEC-60945 specification. The company says this means its products are now ready to be applied even on ship bridges. G&D KVM optimises IT installations on- and offshore. G&D says various kinds of applications have proven their worth in many maritime control areas.

Improved security: G&D says being certified improves the security of its devices even further. A selection of G&D’s KVM switches are also Tempest-certified. The company reports that although these certifications take a long time, this strengthens G&D’s leading role in industries where security, quality and reliability play an important role.
