Middle East contract secured

Down hole tool producer Churchill Drilling Tools has secured an initial $1.3 million contract with a major Middle Eastern operator for the supply of its dart activated DAV MX bypass valve in the region.

The initial contract was awarded after the valve was successfully deployed in a series of three heavy/sour oil trial wells, and the company is optimistic that further contracts will follow.

Churchill’s DAV MX and its Smart Dart steel dart activation technology are reported to deliver consistent reliability and offer unique functionality, performance and versatility.
