BLH Nobel SAYS the LCAMP is a field service / replaceable amplifier for use with its KOSD and KIMD range of offshore load cells. It offers 4…20mA output, HART communication for diagnostics and NAMUR error signalling with a choice of a single bridge with single current loop or dual bridge and dual current versions.
BLH Nobel says a complete amplified load cell attains an IP67 or IP68 protection with ATEX/IECEX approval, combined error of 1% and a response time of 5 ms.
Recent successes are said to have been in cranes, winches, mooring system and tension applications, bespoke designs are also available from BLH Nobel.
